Tenerife hosts the presentation of the Salomon Iati team
This year the island of Tenerife has been chosen by the Salomon Iati team to start a new season full of challenges. The five athletes, Tòfol Castanyer, Eli Gordón, Jan Margarit, Cristofer Clemente and Aritz Egea have spent a weekend in the Canary Island where they have taken advantage of to do different workshops and shootings as well as to train all together and make a lot of pineapple.
Up to a hundred people attended the presentation, which took place on Saturday morning, where the five components shared with their assistants their training routines, their beginnings in the trail and all kinds of curiosities and anecdotes.
In addition to listening to their advice from above the stage, part of the audience also had the opportunity to do it in a practical way on the How To Trail that was held in Los Realejos, traveling a part of route 040. There, from the most veteran as Tòfol Castanyer and Cristofer Clemente until the youngest ones like Eli Gordón, Aritz Egea and Jan Margarit, explained their best tricks to go up and down the mountain to 50 people who attended with great attention raising all kinds of doubts.
On Sunday the star scene was the Teide National Park, where all day long the athletes, fascinated by the arid and volcanic landscape, were the protagonists of various shootings in different points of the park, from the sunrise in the Minas de San José to the Ucanca Valley.
Among all this there has also been time for workshops on social networks and product and to learn more about who will be your companion this season, Iati Seguros.
This is the only occasion where the five athletes meet before facing their objectives of the season, each focused on different distances. It has been two intense days of sharing experiences and tricks, of learning, of training on the island and, above all, of many laughs.
